The Lord of the Rings Gollum: Release date confirmed for PC and consoles
The release date for Daedalic Entertainments and Nacon’s The Lord of the Rings: Gollum has been set.
The story-focused stealth adventure will be released on September 1, 2022 for PC, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The Switch version is expected “later in the year”.
A dangerous journey
The game deals with Gollum’s behind-the-scenes experiences of the first chapters of The Fellowship of the Ring.
Having lost his treasure to Bilbo Baggins, Gollum leaves the Misty Mountains and embarks on a journey that takes him from the dungeons of Barad-dûr to the Wood Elves of Mirkwood.
