XEL: Love Letter to Zelda demo available on PC
The indie adventure XEL from publisher Assemble Entertainment and developer Tiny Roar is now available to try with a demo.
This is now available for PC on Steam and lets you experience the game, which the developers had previously described as a “love letter to the Zelda games”.

It is currently not known whether demos will follow for other platforms. But if you use Steam, you can watch the game there at your leisure. Here’s the demo by XEL.
In the title, which you experience from the top-down perspective, you play the protagonist Reid, who has lost her memories. She can move through space and time and tries to regain her memories throughout the adventure.

Among other things, you explore the game world, fight your way through dungeons, solve puzzles and fight bosses.

The release of XEL is planned for summer 2022, first on PC and Nintendo Switch.
Implementations for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One are to follow later this year.
