Is Returnal the Next PlayStation Exclusive Coming to PC?

If we jump a bit into the future, it could be that a return version is already waiting for us there on the PC. New clues point to the porting of developer Housemarque’s sci-fi roguelike.

So shortly after the release already on the PC?

Details about the third-person shooter have been discovered on SteamDB – including references to the Tower of Sisyphus DLC, Selene’s ship Helios and the alien planet Atropos. Returnal could soon join other former PlayStation exclusives like Days Gone or Horizon Zero Dawn on the PC platform.

The Nvidia leak from last year also points to a porting of the title. Returnal was on a list of many confirmed and unconfirmed titles that will sooner or later be playable with Geforce Now. For the space adventure of April 30, 2021 there is still no official confirmation of a port.

More news about Returnal:

Jim Ryan continues to be in good spirits when it comes to porting PlayStation-exclusive titles. At a recent investor presentation, he said Sony expects to make $300 million from its PC games later this year. As a product of a first-party studio, Returnal could already contribute to this goal.

Aside from a possible port, Returnal aims to reach new audiences as part of the PS Plus subscription service.
