Sniper Elite 5 is strangely not yet available on the Epic Games Store

The latest installment in the popular Sniper Elite series was released on May 26th, 2022. The title is available on PC to all PC Game Pass subscribers at no additional cost. Otherwise, the game can still be purchased on Steam, and a release for the Epic Games Store was actually planned. Players could also pre-order Sniper Elite 5 here as normal, but for now the title is still available as a “coming soon” listed, which is a little strange. According to one FAQ from the developer studio Rebellion At least all pre-orders of Sniper Elite 5 have received a refund.

Despite the pre-order, there is no trace of Sniper Elite 5 in the Epic Games Store

According to a popular theory currently circulating around the internet, the game will not be available on the Epic Games Store until June 16th, 2022. This is when the current Epic Games Mega Sale ends, which includes a coupon that gives players a 25 percent discount on a title worth over EUR 14.99. For example, users can also apply this coupon to the recently released Evil Dead The Game. So it would be quite conceivable that the coupon could also be applied to a new release like Sniper Elite 5.

This may simply be a bug in the system at Epic Games, after all, as mentioned, the title still has its own page and is listed as “Coming Soon”. Maybe Sniper Elite 5 (buy now €59.99) So it will be available in the Epic Games Store in a few days.
