Star Wars: New Series Skeleton Crew Starring Jude Law Announced

Hate the new Star Wars movies? Then Lucasfilm has bad news for you...

As part of this year’s Star Wars Celebration, we’ve already received some interesting news. For example, there was a first trailer for Star Wars Andor, which looked pretty good overall, and the continuation of the “sequel era” was also announced recently. In the next few days we will probably receive some more exciting news about Star Wars. One of these is the new series by John Watts called Star Wars: Skeleton Crew.

New Star Wars series will be released next year

In addition to Watts, who is known for his Spider-Man trilogy with Tom Holland, among other things, Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, and Christopher Ford also act as executive producers. One of the main characters will probably embody Jude Law, according to the accompanying tweet from the official Star Wars Twitter account.

Skeleton Crew was originally known by the working title Grammar Rodeo, and the new series is expected to release on Disney Plus as early as 2023. Skeleton Crew is set to take place after the Empire’s defeat in Star Wars: Episode 6 Return of the Jedi, along with the two popular series The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett. So it’s quite likely that there will be some overlap.
