Great Ellie cosplay from The Last of Us 2 sweetens waiting time for series adaptation

The Last of Us games delight a number of fans around the world. Currently there is even a series adaptation in development, which should be very similar to the video games. It is scheduled to appear on HBO Max in 2023, but Sony is currently planning a remake of the first part of The Last of Us. In fact, the entire franchise is so popular that fans regularly create cosplays based on it.

Ellie cosplay could easily have come from the game

The Reddit user, who goes by the name karenscarlet1, has made it her mission to cosplay the protagonist ellie from The Last of Us to create. The cosplay and game images are placed side by side and the resemblance is truly amazing. This is mainly due to the attention to detail. For example, she meticulously traced Ellie’s tattoo and also made sure that the clothes were clearly worn and looked like the end of time. Even the flashlight attached to the backpack was not forgotten when creating the cosplay.

The cosplay is clearly based on the second part of The Last of Us Part 2 series. It takes place five years after Joel and Ellie’s adventures in the first part. Young Ellie has grown from a girl to a young woman and is now 19 years old.
