Dark Souls 4: Fan Concept in Unreal Engine 5

Dark Souls 4: Fan Concept in Unreal Engine 5

from Michael Miskulin
What could a Dark Souls 4 look like in Unreal Engine 5? Another concept video is now coming from the Entfant Terrible YouTube channel, which is sure to make astonished faces among fans of the series. Finally, the video shows again what is possible with the UE5.

Dark Souls fans have really gotten a big deal from FromSoftware with Elden Ring. Even though it’s been a while since it was released, the game should still offer enough game material for a few months. A Dark Souls 4 seems a long way off. But a new concept video shows what a new Dark Souls could look like in the modern Unreal Engine 5.

Dark Souls 4 in Unreal Engine 5: what if?

The Youtube channel Enfant Terrible sat down again with knowledge of Unreal Engine 5 and conjured up a really grandiose concept video of a possible Dark Souls 4. In the concept video we are presented with indescribably beautiful dark scenarios that we have seen in a similar way in previous Dark Souls titles: lots of gothic, detailed architecture with crumbling walls in a dim light. But this time implemented by the Unreal Engine 5. All this, in turn, shows the possibilities of the new engine from Epic Games.

However, the Dark Souls 4 concept video also features large, mystical panoramic images of mysterious landscapes reminiscent of Elden Ring, the latest FromSoftware title. Even the remaster of Demon Souls as a Playstation 5 exclusive title cannot keep up with the graphic splendor presented. Those interested in more Unreal Engine 5 videos like this can also check out the Halo level in UE5 or a possible remake of The Last of Us in Epic’s new engine.
