In January this year, Bandai Namco became aware of a remote code execution vulnerability in the online server of the PC versions of Dark Souls 3 brought to our attention, which would make it possible to hijack players’ PCs. As a result, the servers of the entire Dark Souls-Row included Dark Souls Remastered (in the test, grade 8.5) taken offline.

Originally, the publisher only said that the multiplayer servers would remain before the release of Elden ring (in the test, grade 8.5) switched off. However, even after the release of FromSoftware’s most successful Souls RPG to date, there was no news about the problem.

Four months later, Bandai Namco commented at the request of PC gamer, they are in the process of bringing back the PC online servers of the Souls games. Bandai Namco did not give a date. However, it is planned to gradually bring the servers of the individual titles back online and as soon as the schedule is set, there will be a corresponding announcement.
