At the first Spotlight Hour in June, you'll meet the third-generation Pokémon Nasgnet. It belongs to the Rock type and can evolve into Volumes.

All the spotlight hours with bonuses, Pokémon and times in June 2022 at Pokémon GO. Four appointments await you. We show you when there are candies, XP and stardust as rewards.

What are spotlight hours? These events run for one hour each Tuesday evening. On these days, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., a Pokémon will be the focus along with a bonus. The content is determined by the developers and announced before the events. The bonus may affect XP, Stardust, and Candy earned.

Remember the dates: A total of four limelight hours will start in June. One of the events is still secret and will only be revealed by Niantic in the next few weeks. We will update our article as soon as the information is known. The following Pokémon and bonuses are the focus:

Nasgnet is not interesting as an attacker in PvE (in raids) or in PvP (trainer battles). Mantax is rather negligible in PvE. In PvP, Mantax plays in the upper midfield in the super league. In the Hyperliga at least in the lower midfield. Webarak himself isn’t particularly strong as an attacker. Ariados plays in the midfield in the Superliga, but is otherwise not particularly strong. The event is then worthwhile mainly for the bonus. Can you catch Shiny Webarak?

That is still unclear. Niantic will announce further details about the event. On the overview page in the blog, the team states that the unknown Pokémon can also be caught as a Shiny. It is still unclear whether this is just a placeholder or reliable information.
