After in April the kickstarters-campaign too Beyond The Edge Of Owlsgard has come to a successful end, the next German indie developer is now venturing onto the crowdfunding platform with his pixel-look point-and-click adventure. For his first project Casebook 1899 – The Leipzig Murders asks Gregory Mueller for support of 15,000 euros. You can find the appropriate trailer below this news.

In this classic detective adventure set in an industrial metropolis on the threshold of the 20th century, you, as Detective Inspector Joseph Kreiser, must investigate four murder cases, each with a different ending depending on how you act. In the cases you will interrogate people, solve environmental puzzles and sharpen your eye for details in order to finally determine the perpetrator with the right clues.

You can get more details from today ongoing campaign which will hopefully be successfully completed on June 30th. The game is currently scheduled for release in late 2023. Among other things, it will contain a completely German language version including soundtrack. You can already open the first of the four cases in the form of a demo version Steam download.
