buffedCast: #595 with WoW Patch 9.2.5, Season 4 and internal testing teams

from Philip Sattler
In Episode 595 of the buffedCast, Seb and Phil talk about the WoW Patch 9.2.5 that was recently launched on the live servers and the cross-faction group play that was introduced with it. After that, it’s a bit about the content of Season 4, which does NOT come with the current patch and that Blizzard supposedly wants you to be able to defeat all bosses without addons and voice communication.

June 01, 2022 is Patch 9.2.5 rolled out to WoW live servers and has brought one of the greatest features of the recent WoW past. Starting today, Horde and Alliance players can visit raids and dungeons together and dispute any other type of Group Content. How does it feel, what impact will it have and why the discount on faction changes could be a shot in the knee are just a few of the points Seb and Phil talk about in the first part of buffedCast 595.

Also the never-ending nerfs to the Mausoleum of the First are again an issue. Why does this exist and how could Blizzard solve it better? Then the two discuss the upcoming Season 4 and why many players still think that the Season would appear together with Patch 9.2.5. In the end, it’s about the developers’ statement that all raid bosses should be manageable without voice communication and addons and why, in our opinion, this can only apply to some of the players.
