The events in detail

Game Convention 2022: Taking place in Neumünster this year, this German games fair puts community and esports content in the foreground. So you can look forward to cosplays, a medieval market, LARP and e-sports events.

THQ Digital Showcase: At its digital event, the publisher promises new releases and updates from “serious, epic and funny” games of various genres.

QuakeCon: Instead of in Dallas, you can only be there digitally at this convention. The organizer is currently working on streams, giveaways and online meetups and has already confirmed that Starfield and Redfall will be getting a gig.

gamescom: The largest games fair in Germany will take place in Cologne again this year – so really on site! There is still an additional online offer. Especially the Opening Night Live on August 24 should have one or two world premieres in store.

PDXCON: Publisher Paradox is having fun with an in-person event this year, showing its updates and announcements in Stockholm. The strategy game Victoria 3 in particular should be the focus of the show.

Tokyo Game Show: The largest gaming fair in Asia will also take place on site again in 2022. With a strong focus on Japanese publishers and titles, new games will be presented. But experience has shown that some Chinese, Korean and Western releases also make it into the event.

EGX London 2022: In London, too, the games fair will be held again with smaller e-sports tournaments, community events and games news.

Polaris: This Hamburg fair is all about games, S-Sport, Japanese pop culture, cosplays and content creators – some of whom are of course also invited. Among others, PietSmiet, DoktorFroid and Ninotaku will be there.
