Destiny 2: Xur Today – Location and Offer on 06/03

Welcome to Destiny 2 for a new edition of Xur-live! The exotic merchant with a penchant for the number nine will arrive today to lure the Guardians for their Legendary Shards. MeinMMO has picked up the trail to be the first to show you what it has to offer.

What happened in Destiny 2 this week? While the new story of Season 17 hasn’t revealed anything really compelling yet, the Guardians are using the time to calmly complete their collection of exotic armor.

The botched start of the Iron Banner event with Rift this week also caused many PvP players to become frustrated and even threatened Bungie employees. In their eyes, the wishes of the players have been ignored for too long and some guardians are also dissatisfied with the changes and the current state of the space shooter overall.

Bungie will probably have to do something to regain their trust. Maybe even later this week there will be a fix for the problems in the Iron Banner, as revealed by dmg04 on Twitter. But that’s not for sure. Because Bungie had also announced that the problems in PvE with the weak new Solar 3.0 skills would first be tackled:

When is Xur coming? The most famous trader from Destiny 2 starts his show every Friday at 7:00 p.m. sharp. If you bring a few legendary fragments and other materials to trade, you can look around in their program.

Where is Xur located? This is his camp for the weekend

The position of Xur: Where exactly Xur will find his place this week, we don’t know yet. But MeinMMO knows Xur’s locations and will track him down for you as soon as possible. This week you have to go to Nessus in the Warden’s Tomb.

What does Xur offer? For all Guardians who don’t know Xur yet: He is an exotic trader of the “Nine”, an ominous race in Destiny 2, and delivers new weapons and armor to the players on their behalf on a weekly basis. All characters, i.e. warlocks, hunters and titans can buy from him.

Xur also sells Legendary items and each week offers unique rolls for exotics from past DLC exotic missions that are no longer available.

He currently has these two weapons on offer:

• The Hawkmoon exotic handgun with the Hipfire Grip perk
• The Exotic Scout Rifle Dead Man’s Tale with the Vorpal Weapon perk

The weapons cost: For these two exotics, the cost is 1 Ascendant shard, 1 Exotic code, 125,000 Glimmer, and 200 Legendary shards.

Xur always has this with him: You can always get an Exotic Engram for 97 Legendary Shards from Xur, as well as the weekly quest to get an Exotic Code.

There will still be no Trials of Osiris this weekend. Valus Forge, which is the new cabal name of Lord Saladin, awaits you in the Tower of Iron Banner.

With the new “Rift” mode, many Guardians not only have to change their playstyle to team play, but also fight against the current bugs. But no battle is easy, so Guardians must be patient and hope that Bungie can take care of the problems quickly.

• The Trials of Osiris will debut in Season 17 on June 10th.

At least the wait is worth it, because unlike the Iron Banner, the Trials of Osiris have been equipped with a new loot package in the “Season of the Haunted”. Including new weapons and armor, a Sparrow and a spirit shell.
