Diablo Immortal is currently unplayable on some Samsung and Xiaomi smartphones

Diablo Immortal is apparently struggling with compatibility issues on various smartphones from Samsung and Xiaomi. Devices with an Exynos chipset are probably particularly affected.

It shouldn’t surprise anyone that an online title like Diablo Immortal had to struggle with a few problems when it was released. However, some bugs are currently causing increased frustration within the community, especially among owners of Samsung and Xiaomi smartphones. In some cases, they can’t even install the title, let alone play it.

Severe graphics problems on Samsung devices with Exynos chipset

Various players have published various screenshots of severe graphic errors that apparently occur on Samsung smartphones with Exynos chipsets in the official Blizzard forum:

The faulty graphics makes Diablo Immortal thus unplayable on devices like the Samsung Galaxy S10 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 10. According to user reports, this bug apparently affects the entire game and not just character creation: one player claims to have struggled through level 11 only to find that the problems persist later in the game.

But even Xiaomi smartphones can’t seem to get along with Diablo Immortal, even though they meet the minimum requirements. Users then apparently get a message that their device is not compatible with Diablo Immortal. However, the developers have already responded with a blog post and say they are working on a solution to the problem.

So if you are affected by the current problems with Samsung and Xiaomi smartphones, you will probably have to wait a little longer until the Blizzard team has fixed the bugs. There is currently no workaround for this. However, we assume that the developers will soon provide a solution to the problems.
