There was a lot of speculation about a new part of Street Fighter in the run-up to the State of Play and in the end the rumors came true. Capcom’s Beat ’em Up was presented with a first trailer that shows all sorts of interesting things. Including a rough release period for Street Fighter 6, a small surprise on the platforms and a new mode that is rather unusual for the series.

When will Street Fighter 6 be released? Unfortunately, we can’t tell you an exact release date yet, but the game should appear in 2023. Incidentally, it is interesting that the game “only” appears for PS4/PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC, but no longer for Xbox One.

The unveiling of the caused a stir world tour called Street Fighter 6 mode, which, by the way, is being developed in the same engine as Resident Evil Village and Devil May Cry 5. In the second new mode called Battle Hub Should we then be able to compete with other players in online matches? What exactly awaits us here is not yet known. The following modes have also been confirmed: Arcade, Training, Local vs. Battles.

Real-time comment: As we already know from many well-known sports series such as FIFA or NBA2K, Street Fighter will now also have well-known commentators from the eSports scene to accompany your matches. The whole thing should also come with subtitle support.
