AMD low prices: 5900X for 383, 5950X for 496 and 5600X for 195 euros

from Valentin Sattler
AMD’s Ryzen 5000 processors have seen some price records in the past few days. AMD’s flagship was even cheaper than the Ryzen 7 5800X3D for a short time. In addition, the prices of the Ryzen 9 5900X and the Ryzen 5 5600X have also fallen.

A few months before the release of the new Ryzen 7000 processors, the price slide in AMD’s current models continues. In the past few days, some of the most popular models have reached new low prices, which speaks for falling demand or the beginning of destocking.

Three times the lowest price

For price-conscious buyers, the most recent price reduction is particularly likely of the Ryzen 5 5600X be exciting. The six-core processor has become significantly cheaper in the last few days and weeks and is currently being sold for 195 euros. Yesterday, the processor was even briefly available for 188 euros – that was by far the lowest price for the model so far.

AMD’s currently most popular processor in the price comparison, the Ryzen 7 5800X3D, remains at 500 euros. As a reminder: The Ryzen 7 5800X3D is very fast in games due to the 3D V-Cache mentioned in the name, but in applications only eight cores can by no means keep up with the Ryzen 9 5950X, which is currently sold for almost the same price. Currently the Processor for 509 euros to have, and yesterday only 496 euros were asked for. This also corresponds to the previous low price.

Also exciting: AMD Ryzen 7000: Raphael GPU should only have 128 RDNA2 shaders

A strong price change was also observed in the Ryzen 9 5900X in the last few days. Here, too, there was a best price of 376 euros on Friday, but this was only valid for a short time. Currently the model is restored sold for 383 euroswhich is still quite cheap compared to the average price of the past month.

As the changes from today to yesterday show, the prices for Ryzen processors are currently fluctuating at a fairly rapid pace. Anyone looking for a bargain should therefore keep an eye on the current offers, activate a price alert or simply wait and see. Because the closer the release of the new Ryzen 7000 processors comes, the cheaper the current generation should be.
