There’s a new trailer for the upcoming Pokémon Crimson and Crimson. In addition to insights into the gameplay, the release date was finally revealed.

Tokyo – A new main series Pokémon game is finally coming out this year. Most recently, fans were happy about Pokémon Legends Arceus, which offered a welcome change. But that’s more of a prequel than a real main game. The ninth generation is coming with Pokémon Crimson and Crimson. The concrete release date for crimson and purple was finally shown in a brand new trailer.

Trailer shows gameplay: On June 1st, The Pokémon Company, along with Nintendo, revealed a new trailer for Pokémon Crimson and Crimson. In it, fans have now received further insights into the new world and what will be possible. You already got a first look at the official announcement of Pokémon Crimson and Crimson, where the three starter Pokémon were also shown.

The first thing you see in the trailer is a tropical island that is very reminiscent of the Alola region from Pokémon Sun and Moon. That was just a topic for Pokémon GO. Fans are likely to encounter two professors and can play with up to four players at once in Pokémon Crimson and Crimson. This finally makes Pokémon Crimson and Crimson the first game in the franchise to feature co-op. 51 Pokémon are already confirmed for Pokémon Crimson and Crimson.

Of course, at the end of the trailer, you also saw the two legendary Pokémon. Koraidon will appear in Crimson and Miraidon in Crimson. In addition to the two big monsters, there were also first glimpses of other new Pokémon such as Ferkuli, Pamo or Olini. There are also arena fights, Pokémon fights and you can probably sneak. There were hardly any arena and Pokémon battles in Pokémon Legends Arceus, but the sheikh function from the last title was integrated.

If you want to buy Pokémon Crimson and Crimson digitally, you can already pre-order the two titles in the Nintendo eShop. Pre-orders for the physical versions are likely to follow shortly.
