Fortnite: Planting Reality Seedlings and Harvesting Fruits – How to get strong loot

With the release of Season 3 Chapter 3 in Fortnite, Epic Games not only brought new weapons and locations into the game, but also a new item: The reality seedlings, which you should definitely use in matches. But how do they work and where can I get a seedling from? We at MeinMMO will show you!

What is a reality seedling? After the live event in Season 2 Chapter 3, the residents of the island feel like celebrating. Saving Zero created a reality tree that is now spreading its roots across the island.

To help the fighters in the match as well, the reality tree has scattered reality seeds wildly across the new map. These can be planted and provide players with a lot of useful loot. But where exactly do you get a seed from and how does the mechanics behind it work? We at MeinMMO will show you.

Where can I get a reality seedling? In order to get a reality seedling, you must first obtain a reality seed. You can get this in two ways:

• By destroying reality bulbs on the roots of the reality tree
• By picking fruit from the reality seedlings

If you have used one of the methods, you must take the seed and plant it on fertile soil. You cannot use paved paths or roads for cultivation as the plant requires soil.

Note that you can only plant one seedling. If you receive a new seed and plant it, simply change the location of your existing plant.

You can always see the status of your plant on the map in an active Battle Royal round and see if it can be weeded or fruit can be picked.

How do the reality seedlings work? If you now have a seed, you can plant it on fertile soil. Then the first stage of the seedling hatches out of the ground.

There are a total of six stages that the tree can go through before it withers and needs to be replanted:

• Usually
• Unusual
• Rarely
• Epic
• Legendary
• Mythical

As in nature, the weeds around your seedling must be removed in order for the plant to thrive. So every 15 hours you have to go back to your seedling and remove the weeds. Removing the parasite will give your offspring the next level of rarity.

Pay attention to when and how much you harvest from your sprout, because once harvested, the fruits only grow back at a later point in time. If your plant has reached the final Mythic level, it will wither and you can plant a new seed. Then the gardening starts all over again.

Important information about the seedlings: In view of the many cultivation options, there are a few things you should keep in mind:

• You and other enemies can harvest and destroy your crop.
• Destroyed plants grow back to their known level after each round.
• Remove the weeds so your tree can continue to thrive.
• Your tree dies when it has reached the last phase and leaves you with a seed.
