Netflix confirms Vikings Valhalla seasons 2 and 3 of the new Viking series
Netflix has since confirmed that the new hit series Vikings: Valhalla as a sequel to the cult Viking series two more seasons has been extended. As part of the Netflix Geeked Weeks the main actors and creators of the series thank the many fans for the sensational success of the first season.

According to the series maker, the second season should go deeper into the Backstories of the main characters Leif (Sam Corlett), Harald (Leo Suter) and Freydis (Frida Gustavsson) dive in. Series creator and showrunner Jeb Stuart has already confirmed before the start of the series that there will be a second season with another 8 episodes which is currently in production. A start is for the end of 2022 at the earliest, but at the latest early 2023 planned.
