Pokémon GO: 4 new field researches that are particularly worthwhile for adventure week

Adventure Week is currently running in Pokémon GO, where you can get 9 new field research tasks and one adventure research. We at MeinMMO show you which tasks and rewards are hidden behind the quests and which ones are particularly worthwhile.

What are these tasks? On June 7th, 2022, Adventure Week started in Pokémon GO. In addition to numerous spawns and bonuses, you can expect special event field research and exclusive adventure research in the “Today” area.

You can of course look forward to one or the other encounter with a cool Pokémon. We have summarized below what tasks there are and what rewards await you.

When is the event running? The adventure week started on June 7th at 10:00 local time and runs until June 12th at 20:00 local time. Until then, you can take full advantage of the event and access the new tasks.

Which research is particularly worthwhile?

Four interesting Pokémon can be found in the new field research for Adventure Week. Because of this, you should keep an eye out for the following research: Spin 25 PokéStops or Gyms:

In this task you can meet the two Pokémon Amarino and Balgoras. Available for the first time in Pokémon GO, they can only be hatched from 7km Eggs or found in Field Research for now.

Finally, on June 12th, they will receive a mini-event in which they will also briefly spawn in the wild. If you don’t want to wait that long or want one or two additional copies, you should take the opportunity to do field research.

The task is easy to work on and therefore completed relatively quickly, so solving it shouldn’t be a problem for you.

Amarino (left) and Balgoras (right) Run 5 km:

Also in this quest you can meet Amarino and Balgoras. In contrast to the task of rotating 25 PokéStops or Gyms, solving this task will take you a little more time. For players who will be traveling a lot in the coming days anyway, that shouldn’t be a problem either. Hatch 4 Eggs:

The two Pokémon Galapaflos and Flapteryx are hiding behind this task. Although they have been in the game for a while, the two Pokémon were recently desperately sought after by some trainers.

Now you can meet them in Field Research or hatch them from 7km Eggs. In contrast to Amarino and Balgoras, Galapaflos and Flapteryx can also be obtained in their dazzling forms with a bit of luck. This should be of particular interest to shiny hunters.

By halving the hatching distance when hatching eggs, you can also solve this task relatively easily. You can get a supply of incubators from the limited-time adventure research that we introduced to you earlier in the article.

Flapteryx and Galapaflos normal (left) and as Shinys (right) Earn 3 candies by exploring with your buddy:

You get another chance to encounter Galapaflos and Flapteryx by completing the task of earning 3 candies with your buddy. Depending on the Pokémon, solving this task can take a different amount of time, since the individual monsters have to cover different distances for a candy.

It is a good idea to look through your buddy chronicle to see whether one or the other monster is only a few meters away from reaching the next candy. If you don’t have any in the list, then fall back on monsters like Rattfratz, Caterpillar or Taubebsi, which only have to walk one kilometer per candy.

Here we explain how you can play with your buddy.

What do you think of the new field research for Adventure Week? Which quest do you definitely not want to miss? And what other tasks would you have liked to have done? Let us know in the comments here on MeinMMO.
