Cloud and mobile gaming is becoming more and more popular, which means that your own smartphone is playing a growing role as a game console. If you want to take gaming to a new level on the go, you can equip your smartphone with an appropriate game controller.
Razer has with the Kishi V2 presented the next generation of its controller model. This should bring “console-level inputs” to Android and iOS devices later this year. The Kishi V2 is based on the design of the Wolverine V2 console controller that Razer offers for home consoles.
The Kishi V2 should convince compared to the previous model with new tactile microswitches, better accessibility and an optimized user experience. In addition, there is now a share button on board, which enables uncomplicated recording and sharing of game recordings. Also on board for the first time is the free Razer Nexus app, which allows finer settings on the Kishi V2.
Other features of the Razer Kishi V2 should include a connection via USB-C, a comfortable grip and a portable form factor.
Richard Hashim, Head of Mobile & Console at Razer, says: “The original Razer Kishi opened the doors to a new category of console-quality controls for the mobile gaming market, and we’re thrilled that Kishi V2 advances that experience in every way.”
The Razer Kishi V2 is available now for Android 9.0+ and this fall for iOS. Razer specifies around 120 euros as a recommended retail price.
