Mario Strikers: Battle League – International Test ratings, what does the press say?

Mario Strikers: Battle League is the latest prank of Nintendowhich takes us into an action-packed adventure on the Nintendo switch invites. Together with Mario and his friends – and of course his non-friends – from the Mushroom Kingdom we visit the virtual lawn for a game of soccer.

But what good is the FIFA equivalent for the hybrid console? Is the title a must-buy or at best a nice snack for in between? We’ll see you international test scores and see what the press has to say about the game.

What is the conclusion?

Nintendo Magazines credits the game with “a masterclass title in competitive game design” (NintendoLife), think it’s “the best Mario sports game on the Nintendo Switch right now” (Nintendo) and guarantee real fun at the same time. It is a “true football-like gameplay experience that can only be implemented in a way that is so special and whimsical from a world like Mario” (MyNintendo News). This magazine also calls it the best Mario sports game.

On the other hand, it reminds many of Mario Golf: Super Rush. “Both games offer fun core gameplay but suffer from a lack of content,” writes comic book.

Also VGC says that it is currently “incredibly thin and those who rely more on a single player” were left behind.

The missing game modes and the progress system are also criticized (metro), while we should be aware that “realism would be thrown out the window”. Yet inverse also warns that the overly complicated systems could frustrate casual gamers.

Overall that is Conclusion really quite mixed and it is up to you whether such a Mario sports game is something for you. If you had fun with the older games of this type, you will Mario Strikers: Battle League certainly entertained for a period of time.
