LoL: Supporter from Aintracht Spandau makes the game of his life – even blindly steals the dragon

LoL: Supporter from Aintracht Spandau makes the game of his life - even blindly steals the dragon

Aintracht Spandau, the LoL team from YouTuber HandOfBlood, is still undefeated after the fourth match day in the Prime League. Supporter Olivier “Prime” Payet (cover photo, via Prime League) played a big part in this, delivering a great game against Penta 1860 on champion Ashe.

What was so special about the performance? Prime, the support of Aintracht Spandau, bet on an unusual champion in the game against Penta 1860. He played with Ashe, a classic Marksman or AD Carry.

Although it happens again and again that Ashe is also played as a support with a special build, this is rather a rarity in large tournaments. But it was precisely with Ashe that Prime delivered an outstanding game:

  • He landed several good stuns with the Crystal Arrow (“R”)
  • He helped dominate the botlane with good moves
  • He ended up standing with Ashe 3/2/9

The highlight, however, was the dragon’s stealing with a salvo (“W”). Not for nothing was Prime voted MVP (Most Valuable Player) of the game.

Prime blindly steals the dragon, continuing an important tradition

What’s up with the dragon steal? The jungler Rulfchen from Penta 1860 started with the kite just before 9 minutes. He pulled this out of his shelter to block Aintracht Spandau’s view and prevent a steal.

However, Prime walked around the jungle with Ashe and – without sight or knowledge of the life points – fired a volley over the wall. To everyone’s surprise, he promptly stole the dragon:

In doing so, Prime is upholding an important tradition. Aintracht Spandau already had a clear strategy in the spring. They focused heavily on the first dragons to put pressure on the fight for the Dragon Soul early on.

Even now in the Summer Split, they’ve taken every single first dragon in the game so far.

Why actually Aintracht Spandau? For the 4th match day, the team of HandOfBlood and its agency INSTINCT 3 changed its name from Eintracht Spandau to Aintracht Spandau. The reason for this is a trick with the alphabet to be at the top of the ladder.

Prime lands multiple ultimates across the map

What else was special about Prime’s performance? In addition to the outstanding dragon steal, Prime managed everything that evening. So he shot several Enchanted Crystal Arrows across the map and even secured kills that were actually not possible.

At about 14 minutes Prime shoots his Arrow from the botlane towards the topplane and even gets a kill with it:

Support Ashe with a special cooldown build

Why do you play Support Ashe? While Ashe is meant to be a classic AD carry, it offers some slows and a stun on the ultimate. She can also be helpful to her team as a supporter.

The core element of the build is the Imperial Disposal item. This grants mana regeneration and deals additional magic damage when abilities slow or immobilize enemies. This is then combined with lots of ability haste, which reduces ability recharge times.

This would allow you to use Volley and the Enchanted Crystal Arrow more often.

On the 5th match day, Eintracht Spandau will face Team WAVE. So far they have had two wins and two losses, but surprisingly they were able to defeat MOUZ.
