TESO song Pray to the Hunter by Saltatio Mortis celebrates its video premiere at 7 p.m
The German medieval band Saltatio Mortis has released a song entitled “Pray to the Hunter” to coincide with the release of The Elder Scrolls Online: High Isle. Tonight, June 10, 2022, the music video will premiere. You can also listen to Alea, the band’s lead singer, in Tamriel.
Already the Rocktober last year made it clear that Saltatio Mortis and The Elder Scrolls make a great combination. First, singer Alea performed during the gamescom stream some bardic songs for the best. Later, a spontaneous duet with Lara Loft developed into one great version of “The Dragonborn Comes” from Skyrim. And it shouldn’t stop there!
Pray to the Hunter
In line with the release of The Elder Scrolls Online: High Isle on June 2nd, 2022 for PC, Mac and Stadia, the German medieval band wrote a new song entitled “Pray to the Hunter”. Even the few seconds show how much effort and heart and soul must have gone into the video. With almost 100 performers – including well-known cosplayers like Lightning Cosplay – the band besieged a LARP village for four days to create an extraordinary music video.
There will also be a limited single with two exclusive versions of “Pray to the Hunter”, including an interpretation by Ingo Hampf (Subway To Sally). With every physical single you also automatically acquire the main game of The Elder Scrolls Online including Morrowind for PC and Mac.
Saltatio Mortis in Tamriel and on tour
Speaking of The Elder Scrolls Online: You can also listen to good Alea in Tamriel. The singer has sung five new bard songs for High Isle, which can be heard in-game, for example at the inn in Gonfalon, the capital of High Isle. Saltatio Mortis is a music group from Karlsruhe that developed from the German medieval scene and was founded in 2000. The band plays rock music with mostly German lyrics and elements from punk rock and heavy metal. Saltatio Mortis is one of the most commercially successful German bands with roots in the medieval scene. So far they have released twelve studio albums, five concert albums and a best-of. Since 2013, she has topped the German album charts four times in a row. The band is known for their energetic live concerts and their fan-friendly approach.
