A film adaptation of the cool video game Rambo was made more than four years ago Duke Nukem announced how GamersGlobal reported. back then was John Cena was under discussion for the lead role and Paramount Pictures was set to produce the film.
Now Legendary Pictures (Dune) has acquired the rights from Gearbox and together with the Cobra Kai-Makers Josh Heald, yeahn Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg produce the upcoming film. As an additional producer Jean Julien Baronnet called by Marla Studios, who already worked with the video game adaptation of Assassin’s Creed was able to gain experience in the genre.
However, the film adaptation is still in an early production phase, as no scriptwriter has been found and the director and possible actors have not yet been determined.
