A Plaque Tale: Requiem – New Gameplay Video – The stealth title is so dark and brutal

A Plague Tale Requiem

As part of the Xbox and Bethesda showcase, we got a glimpse of a new gameplay trailer for the upcoming action-adventure A Plaque Tale: Requiem by Focus Home Interactive and Asobo Studios. In the successor to A Plague Tale: Innocence we slip back into the role of Amicia, who flees south with her younger brother to start a new life and break Hugo’s curse.

Alicia & Hugo are growing up

In the gameplay trailer, we not only get to see the two siblings, who have grown up noticeably, but also different, dark locations of the stealth title. The core element of the first offshoot, the swarms of rats, should of course not be missing in Requiem.

In the video we see Alicia and Hugo using a torch to make their way through the huge swarms of rodents. The young woman can also use her slingshot to ignite nearby lamps to clear a path to safe spots.

It also seems that there will be even more ways to sneak and Alicia has not only learned more about melee combat, but is much more consistent and brutal. In one scene she kills a soldier from behind with a stab in the neck with her dagger, in another she throws a man into a swarm of rats – there are certainly better ways to die!

A Plague Tale: Requiem will be released in 2023 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch and PC. However, those responsible still owe us an exact release date. However, we expect that in the near future the release date of the title will be officially announced. Until then, however, a little patience is required.
