Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 beta starts in 62 days, at least Amazon says

Ghost will probably not be playable in the beta phase, but he will appear in the campaign.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 brings back the most popular CoD sub-series at the end of October and sends Captain Price, Ghost and Co. into battle against a powerful enemy. In addition to a campaign, there will also be a multiplayer mode, which is typical for CoD.

And you can try it out in advance in a beta phase, as developer Infinity Ward revealed last week in the course of the first major wave of information about the game. However, it was still unclear when this beta phase will take place.

Beta launch in August?

But there is now a pretty clear indication of that. Because as can be seen from the English product page of the game on Amazon, the codes for the open beta will be released on 15th of August sent. Of course, this does not have to mean that the trial phase will also start on this date, but it would be conceivable.

Of course, there is a possibility that it is a placeholder date, which the shipping company works with more often. However, since beta phases for CoD games have often taken place in August in the past, it is at least not impossible that this could also be the case for MW2.

It is currently possible to pre-order Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 to gain access to the open beta. As in previous years, this access is tiered and gives preference to anyone with a PS5 or PS4.
