Starfield: Your character has no more say

Starfield: Your character has no more say

After the big Starfield reveal at the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase, a few more details about the sci-fi role-playing game are now known.

This also includes the fact that the main character of the game is not voiced again this time.

Back to the old conversation flow

It’s not the only change you’ll notice in Starfield. You can see the dialogue scenes here again in the first person perspective.

In Fallout 4, Bethesda previously chose to show the conversation sequences from a third-person point of view and to provide voice overs for the protagonist or the protagonist.

More news about Starfield:

Many fans felt that this limited the range of possible conversation options compared to previous games without a voiced character.

It appears Starfield is responding to this feedback and going back to the earlier flow of conversation.

“Yes, the dialogues in Starfield are in the first person perspective,” it says on Twitter. “And your character has no voice.”

Starfield will be released in 2023 for Xbox Series X/S and PC. There is currently no specific release date.
