For September, Ubisoft promises a “very special event” that will deal with the future of Assassin’s Creed.

“The team hopes the community enjoys the anniversary and invites all fans to join us this September to unveil the future of Assassin’s Creed during a very special event.”

Rumor has it that Ubisoft is working on a smaller Assassin’s Creed project for 2023 that will focus on stealth aspects.

The character Basim, known from Valhalla, is said to play the leading role, originally it was planned as an expansion for Valhalla.

Assassin’s Creed Infinity, which is being developed by Ubisoft Quebec and Ubisoft Montreal, has already been confirmed. According to unconfirmed reports, it will be an extensive online game covering different time periods and will be expanded as a live service game.
