Arcane: Season 2 doesn’t have a release date on Netflix yet – Here’s what we know about launch so far

In November 2021, Arcane, the Netflix animated series based on the popular League of Legends MOBA, made its grand debut on Netflix. Hype quickly broke out. Little by little, new episodes were released, all of which were diligently discussed in the community of viewers and gamers.

After 9 episodes, the first season ended and left many questions unanswered. Questions that may be answered in Season 2. In this article we will give you an overview of what we know about Season 2 of Arcane on Netflix.

Arcane Season 2 Trailer – When is it on Netflix?

In November 2021, Riot Games announced that they had started production on Arcane Season 2 with the following clip:

LoL players may hear a familiar sound in the trailer associated with the character Warwick and his Blood Hunt ability. Possibly a teaser for one of the Season 2 characters.

Start of Season 2 – When is release? There is no official release date for the second season of Arcane. However, the start is probably later than many fans hoped. This is how the CEO of Riot Games, Nicolo Laurent, writes on November 21, 2021 Twitter: “The good news is: you don’t have to wait 6 years for it (that’s how long it took us Season 1). The bad news: It’s not coming in 2022 :'(“

The start of season 2 of Arcane should therefore be expected in 2023 at the earliest.

Where can you watch Season 2? You will be able to watch Season 2 of Arcane on Netflix. Maybe one of the episodes will be shown again on Twitch, but that’s unclear.

How often are new episodes coming? That is unclear. For Season 1, three weekend episodes were released three times. It is possible that Season 2 will use a similar pattern.

What characters are in Arcane Season 2?

We appreciate that: It can be assumed that the important characters from Season 1 will also be represented in Season 2. Without spoiling too much, the end of Season 1 gives a lot of room and opportunity for new faces that we haven’t seen on the show before.

The story will probably continue to revolve around Vi, Jinx, Jayce, Caitlyn, Viktor, Mel, Ekko and Heimerdinger.

Whether Singed, who was mentioned in Season 1, will now find its way into the series is unclear. Also, based on the Season 2 teaser, fans are anticipating Warwick could be a part of the story.
