Valheim (Survival & Crafting) von Coffee Stain Publishing

The surprise hit of 2021, the viking survival game Valheim is coming to Xbox and making its way into Gamepass. The developers announced this on Twitter.

Fall in Gamepass, 2023 on Xbox

Valheim should already be found in the PC game pass in “autumn”. An Xbox version is also scheduled to appear in 2023 and will also find its way directly into Microsoft’s game subscription upon release.

To coincide with this announcement, the developers of Iron Gate released a trailer that offers a brief overview of Viking life in Valheim. The Xbox and PC Gamepass version is said to be fully crossplay compatible with the Steam version. Players can therefore tackle the Nordic adventure with collecting, building, crafting and fighting on all platforms together.

Valheim entered Early Access on Steam in February 2021. The game was a great success when it was released and struck a chord with the players. Since then, updates have continued to expand the Nordic world and even as of mid-June 2022, Steam reviews are overwhelmingly positive. However, the release date of the finished game is not yet known.
