This is what developer Blizzard Entertainment writes about Diablo Immortal:
Abandon all hope
Abandon All Hope – The endless battle between the High Heavens and the Burning Hells continues, and chaos threatens to engulf Sanctuary. There are endless hordes of demons to slay, countless skills to master, and legendary loot to be found in nightmarish dungeons in this vast open world that beckons with both adventure and devastation. Survive and conquer the darkness – or sink into the shadows.
Create and customize a character to battle the unspeakable horrors that plague this land. Choose one of five classes, discover and experiment with a wide range of powerful gear, and choose talents and skills to withstand the darkness. But choose wisely, for the fate of this world is in your hands. At the start of the game you can choose from Barbarian, Druid, Necromancer, Huntress and Sorceress.
Heroic adventurers can clear out bases like these and reclaim them for the residents of Sanctuary. The city will never be the same, but victory here would be of great importance in turning this hostile area into a safe haven.
Combat takes a dramatic turn when you enter PvP zones. Marking yourself as “enemy” allows you to attack other players in these dangerous but rewarding areas of Sanctuary for valuable loot. But be warned. This also makes you a target for attacks. On the official website you can sign up now for a chance to be a part of future betas and to get the latest information on Diablo 4.
