The Elder Scrolls 6 was announced back in 2018, but it’s still a long way off. Of course, this causes fans to despair slowly but surely. To the point that even in the Starfield gameplay footage, they want to recognize the landscape from the first Elder Scrolls 6 teaser, which you can see above. But unfortunately we have to disappoint you: It doesn’t look like this is the same mountain range.

That’s what it’s about: At the big Bethesda and Xbox showcase on Sunday, 15 minutes of Starfield gameplay were shown, among other things. This included a scene where we are standing on a mountainous planet. This mountain range apparently reminds some people on the internet of the first mini teaser that The Elder Scrolls 6 saw.

Here you can again Gameplay presentation see:

This leads some fans to assume that in Starfield we can also end up on a planet that looks like Elder Scrolls 6. From then on, some fans’ imaginations run wild. Speculations range from similarities to easter eggs to full game within the game. But the best thing to do is take a closer look at the moment in question:

Again for comparison, the mountain range from the TES 6 teaser:

So far only hopes: A certain resemblance cannot be completely dismissed. Of course, it can also be assumed that Bethesda will install some Easter eggs in Starfield. But here we have to disappoint you. The mountain range clearly looks different and we find the comparison somewhat absurd and far-fetched. It is more realistic that the same technique was used to create the landscapes here, which could explain the similar result. You can find out how the more than 1,000 planets in Starfield were developed in this GamePro article.

How do you like the comparison? Did you also have to think about Elder Scrolls 6?
