Overwatch 2: PvE won’t come until 2023 – This is the roadmap for the launch
Blizzard gave fresh insights into the roadmap for the launch of Overwatch 2 in the evening.
The game will go into Early Access on October 4, 2022, and the first season will begin at the same time. It brings with it three new heroes, six new maps, a new game mode, more than 30 new skins and a new mythic skin.
How to proceed afterwards
Season 2 follows on December 6th, 2022 and expands Overwatch 2 with a new tank hero, a new map, more than 30 skins, a new Mythic Skin and the Battle Pass.
There is also a rough preview of 2023. More heroes, maps, game modes, more than 100 new skins await you in the coming year, and the PvE mode will not start until 2023.

As part of the switch to the free-to-play model, a free update can be expected every nine weeks, and cross-progression is also supported.
