Pokémon GO: 6 new collector's challenges for the crossover event - this is how you solve them

In Pokémon GO you will find 6 new collector challenges just in time for the start of the crossover event. We at MeinMMO have looked at which Pokémon you have to collect to solve them, what you should pay attention to and what rewards await you.

What are these challenges? Starting today, June 16, 2022, the crossover event will run in Pokémon GO. This is being held due to the cooperation between Pokémon GO and the Pokémon Trading Card Game.

In addition to numerous spawns and bonuses, a total of nine different collector’s challenges await you during the event, which will have different levels of difficulty to solve.

The first 6 Collector Challenges will be available to you when the event starts, and the rest will follow on June 23rd. You can find all of these until the end of the event as usual in the “Today” view of the game and you have time to edit them until then.

We have summarized below which monsters you have to collect to solve them.

When is the crossover event running? The trading card game event runs from June 16, 2022 at 10:00 local time to June 30, 2022 at 20:00 local time.

Those are the 6 new Collector Challenges

The reason for the cooperation between Pokémon GO and the trading card game is a special expansion of the trading cards in the typical Pokémon GO design. On the occasion of the crossover event, this will be taken up thematically in the collector challenges.

These tasks contain Pokémon that will also be available as trading cards in the future. These are divided into six different areas, which will mainly revolve around the starter Pokémon of the first generation of games and their extensions.

Which monsters you have to collect specifically and which rewards await you in each case, we have listed below with the help of the Overview of LeekDuck summarized.

Not all Pokemon you need to collect for the Collector Challenges are meant to be caught. You should exchange a part with friends so that the task can be completed. We have this for you below with one

This is how you find the monsters to solve the challenges As Niantic has already announced, the tasks vary in difficulty (viapokemongolive.com

). Just like the trading card game, certain monsters should be easier to find in the game and others should pose a little challenge.

We looked at where you can find the respective Pokémon so that the tasks can be solved quickly. Wild Spawns:

  • You should be able to get most of the Pokémon you’re looking for easily in the wild. The following monsters are expected to be found there relatively often:
  • Bulbasaur
  • Bisaknosp
  • Charmander
  • Glutexo
  • Squirtle
  • Schillok
  • Alola Rattusk
  • Pikachu with event cap
  • flegmon
  • Magikarp
  • Eevee
  • Webarak
  • stylus
  • Camaub
  • Bidiza

rice louse Find Relaxo, Letarking and Dragoran:

With a little luck, you will also encounter these three Pokémon in the wild. They are supposed to spawn there, but are a bit more difficult to get. So that you don’t have to search in vain, you can also find Relaxo, Letarking and Dragoran in the level 3 raids.

And they are also hiding in the field research for the crossover event. Find the task “Catch 40 Pokémon”. But beware: Which of the 3 Pokémon you get from the reward remains random. So you need a bit of luck to actually get the missing copy.

The sure way would therefore be completing raids. If you can’t find one locally, you can also let friends invite you to a long-distance raid.

Relaxo, Dragoran and Letarking How to get Venusaur, Charizard, and Turtok:

The easiest way to get these three evolutions is to solve the Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle collector challenges. There they hide in the rewards.

If that’s not an option for you, you can get them through the Catch 25 Pokémon event field research. Just like with Relaxo, Letarking and Dragoran, it will also be random here which of the monsters you get. Alternatively, you have the corresponding mega-raids, where you can then catch the respective Pokémon.

Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise
