Warzone: That changes on Caldera with the start of the new Season 4

Where does the information come from? The info comes directly from Activision, or rather from the official Call of Duty Twitter account. There the developers have already revealed some of the most important map changes for Caldera in the run-up to Season 4 and its big presentation.

The highlights of the map changes at a glance: There are a few changes that players have been asking for since the map was released:

  • new micro-POIs (such as Storage Town – thanks to a well-known storage area, new building complexes or even a ship)
  • more loot
  • secret underground mercenary vaults
  • 50% less vegetation and better visibility
  • numerous other surprises

The lower vegetation density, the better visibility and the additional POIs (albeit only smaller ones) should taste really good for many players. All of these aspects are among the biggest points of criticism that have made Caldera so unpopular with many since its introduction. And finally something is happening here.

When exactly do the changes come into play? The map improvements for Cladera will come hand-in-hand with all sorts of other changes in the course of the traditional update at the start of the new season – that is, on 06/22/2022.
