Dragon’s Dogma 2 is coming! Sequel is “in development”

Sometimes wishes do come true, such as after a Dragon’s Dogma 2.

Last night, Capcom officially announced the sequel during the ten-year anniversary livestream of Dragon’s Dogma.

It will probably take a while

According to Capcom, part two is now “in development” and will use the company’s in-house RE engine.

But it will probably be a while before the sequel comes out. Apart from the logo for Dragon’s Dogma 2, nothing else was shown and no release period was mentioned.

The Dragon’s Dogma 2 development team includes Director Hideaki Itsuno, Art Director Daigo Ikeno and Level Designer Kenichi Suzuki

They are “working hard to create the sequel and look forward to sharing more details in the future,” according to Capcom.
