FIFA 22: Shapeshifters starts today – Here’s what to expect at the event

In FIFA 22, the Shapeshifters event starts today, June 17, 2022 in Ultimate Team. We look at all the information, leaks and the Weekend League.

When does Shapeshifters start? The Shapeshifters event starts on June 17 at 7:00 p.m. From this time on you can find the new special cards in packs.

What is this event? Shapeshifters brings new maps to Ultimate Team that feature completely twisted locations. So players who are usually forwards can get defender cards. Wing players could end up in the centre, midfielders could go back – and so on.

In addition, they get changed values, which then match these new positions. Thus, they can represent interesting options for your teams.

How do you get Shapeshifters cards? Most of the cards will end up in FIFA 22’s packs, but you’ll need a lot of luck there to pull one of the cards. There will probably also be event players in the tasks and SBCs.

It is not yet officially known which players will be there. However, there are already some hints and leaks as to who gets a Shapeshifters card.

There are already some leaks that show which players could be there. They come from FutSheriff, a leaker on twitterwho has scored very reliably in the past.

According to the leak, the following players should be there:

• Lionel Messi is said to come as a striker
• St. Juste of Mainz
• Kalulu from AC Milan
• Aubameyang of FC Barcelona
• Real Madrid’s Eden Hazard
• Son of Tottenham Hotspur
• Atal by OGC Nice
• Alphonso Davies from FC Bayern should come as an attacker

Whether these players are actually there should be seen at the latest at the start of the event at 7:00 p.m.

Weekend League will be changed to Shapeshifters

This is what happens in the Weekend League: During the TOTS event there were new seasons for the Weekend League, it ran noticeably longer. Now it’s back to the old days.

• The Weekend League starts at 09:00 on Fridays
• And it ends at 09:00 on Mondays

In addition, the rewards of the Weekend League will be adjusted. As of now, you can still get TOTS players from the Weekend League.
