Even if iOS betas usually run stably, problems can arise in everyday life. Sometimes the performance isn’t satisfactory, or apps don’t work right away. In such a case, a downgrade to the previous version is advisable. Fortunately, with the public beta of iPadOS 16, this is easy: wait for the next official software update from Apple and then delete the configuration profile: “Settings > General > VPN & Device Management”. Select your beta profile and tap “Remove Profile”. Restart your iPad and conveniently return to the stable version of iPadOS.

• Easy collaboration: Collaborate better in Messages and share content across Files, Keynote, Safari, and third-party apps. All changes are directly synced and made visible in the Messages app.

You can see other people’s posts in real time while you make changes yourself – and start a FaceTime session with the push of a button. Apple will release the Freeform app for the iPad later this year.
• Mail: Be more productive in Mail and cancel delivery of a message before it reaches the recipient. Schedule emails, send them automatically at the desired time and revisit emails at any time with “Remind Later”. Apple has also improved search to give you better results.
• weather app: The iPad finally gets the application known from the iPhone – perfectly adapted to the larger screen of the iPad, of course. You can see all the important weather information at a glance and receive detailed maps of air quality, precipitation levels and much more.
• live text: The on-device intelligence no longer only works for images, but also for videos. With a tap of your finger you can translate languages ​​or convert currencies. With visual lookup, you highlight subjects in images and isolate them by removing the background with a tap.
• reference mode: Use the iPad Pro’s Liquid Retina XDR display to match color requirements in workflows, such as color grading.
