The Final Fantasy 7 Remake will be a trilogy, part two will be released in late 2023
The second part of the Final Fantasy 7 remake will be released in winter 2023, at the end of next year.
It’s called Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth and is currently only confirmed for release on the PlayStation 5.

Part two was revealed during the Final Fantasy Anniversary Livestream. According to producer Yoshinori Kitase, the remake should be a trilogy overall.

“Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth’s development has progressed rapidly since we introduced a new development structure,” said Creative Director Testsuya Nomura.
“It’s really rare to find a title of this magnitude where everything is connected even before production begins. In fact, development on the third title has already begun. I’ve started development myself and am working on completing the series.”
