Fortnite: After Team 7, Naruto’s opponents enter the Battle Royale

It looks like more Naruto skins are on their way to Fortnite. Not so long ago, Team 7 consisting of Naruto, Sakura, Sasuke and Kakashi got the honor to represent the popular anime in battle royale.

More Naruto for Fortnite

This time completely different characters get into the ring – including some dark figures. On June 15th, Epic Games announced the arrival of four new ninjas with a tweet. It should be about “rivals”. A release date has already been set. The four are scheduled to join Team 7 on June 23.

Only after the reveal in Shonen Jump Magazine do we know exactly which characters it could be about. One of Naruto’s and the entire ninja world’s greatest rivals is Orochimaru. He and Sasuke’s big brother Itachi legitimately take a seat.

Gaara is Naruto’s rival, at least in the beginning, although it doesn’t stay that way for long. Hinata is the last new character. The lovable Hyuga heiress doesn’t quite fit into the ranks of the rivals, but fans are sure to look forward to her nonetheless.

Despite what it may seem at first glance, Naruto isn’t all black and white. Even the evil characters have motivations and very emotional backstories. I’m glad that Epic Games didn’t announce the characters with the keyword “villains” but “rivals”.
