Forza Motorsport 8: 4K 60fps for Xbox Series X and 1080p 60fps for Xbox Series S confirmed

Forza Motorsport 8 developer confirms 4K/60FPS for Xbox Series X and 1080p/60FPS for Xbox Series S for the racing game.

After Turn 10 already confirmed real-time ray tracing support for Forza Motorsport 8, official information on resolution and frame rate has now also been provided.

In a FAQ Moving on to the next part of the racing game, the developer confirmed that Forza Motorsport 8 will run on Xbox Series X in 4K resolution at 60fps. The Xbox Series S, on the other hand, is 1080p at 60 FPS.

Additionally, it has been confirmed that players will be able to “choose the time of day or a time period, as well as the weather”. So if you love night racing, you will be able to drive it like this.

Forza Motorsport 8 will be released in spring 2023 for Xbox Series X|S, PC and via cloud gaming and will be playable directly with Xbox Game Pass on console and PC on day one. Information about the Xbox One version will be announced later.
