To celebrate the upcoming release of God of War Ragnarök and The Last of Us remake this year, a fan has combined both worlds via mods.

A video recently posted on YouTube by the Speclizer channel shows Joel and Ellie from The Last of Us in the snowy wilderness of God of War, thanks to mods by Omega Fantasy take the place of Kratos and Atreus. Also, David from The Last of Us reappears as the mysterious “stranger” from the first part of God of War, while the draugr of the mythological world have become clickers from the zombie game.

With no gameplay changes, Joel also gains the superhuman powers of Kratos, whose leviathan ax has again been replaced with a pipe in the crossover video to better suit The Last of Us. However, it was not content with exchanging the skins of the characters with mods, but also suitable dialogues from The Last of Us were included.
