ILL: New sign of life from the horror shooter

ILL (Shooter) von

Team Clout has been working on the technically impressive horror shooter ILL for a long time. Studio boss Oleg Vdovenko is now showing a new, short trailer that the video collection on his YouTube channel expanded.

Even the first scenes for the creation of the prototype of the horror shooter ILL caused enthusiasm not only among genre fans. Disgustingly deformed bodies along with creepy and suitable animations testify to the great creative power of the young Russian studio.

Funding on Patreon

Since Vdovenko and his team have apparently still not found a publisher who would accept financing for the ambitious project, the appeal for donations is still running on the Patreon crowdfunding platform. Here the developers keep the interested community up to date on further development steps of the game with small but regular updates.

Switch to Unreal Engine 5

There you can also read that ILL has experienced a conversion of the engine from Unreal 4 to Unreal 5. Team Clout seems pretty excited about the new possibilities this opens up. The new, albeit very short, trailer is intended to reflect the current state of development – there is still a lot of work to be done so that the material shown becomes a real game. If that should work in the distant future, at least horror fans should get their money’s worth here.
