Dragon's Dogma 2 Announcement Boosts Part 1 Player Count

Last week Capcom announced Dragon’s Dogma 2. There aren’t many details about the second part yet, but fans still got Dragon’s Dogma fever. Part one made a real comeback over the weekend with the highest number of players in six years.

Dragons, an open world and a big discount

On Sunday, 6,582 concurrent players played the 2012 title, the second highest in Dragon’s Dogma history. Only in the month of release was the game able to far surpass that number. Noisy SteamDB more than 26,467 people played the title in January 2016 when the game was released on Valve’s distribution platform.

The announcement of the sequel has certainly triggered this enormous rush, but the current price for the title is no longer a major hurdle for any interested gamer who wants to get a taste of the original title afterwards.

Until June 23rd, you can get Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen on Steam for only 4.79 euros instead of the full 29.99 euros. This really is a steal for Capcom’s action RPG, in which you fight in an open world against many fantastic enemies, such as the eponymous dragons.
