Warzone for iOS and Android probably has everything your heart desires – except window glass

Activision is also launching Call of Duty Warzone for iOS and Android. Many gameplay leaks are currently doing the rounds, in which a lot of the game can be seen. Which brings the more or less amazing realization that the game hardly differs from the original on PS4 and Xbox One. But here we take a look at the differences that seem to exist.

Call of Duty Warzone Mobile appears to play the same as it does on PS4 and Xbox One

That’s what it’s about: In addition to Call of Duty Mobile, Warzone Mobile will also appear soon. This means that we’ll soon be able to play the now almost venerable battle royale on iOS and Android tablets or smartphones. Several gameplay leaks now show what that could look like.

What to see The leaks show full matches, with the waiting lobby, the drop, fighting in the gulag and much more. A video is even running over an hour long, another one was in pretty good quality. However, both have a warning on the screen that what can be seen here is not the final version. Nevertheless, everything runs quite cleanly and sometimes even works in 1080p with 60 fps.

It changes: Almost nothing. Seeing the gameplay is really quite freaky. All buildings appear to be where they should be, albeit with less graphic detail and no window glass, plus there are minor issues with loading textures and pop-ins. Even the voice lines are the same as the big original. Anyone who has ever compared PUBG Mobile with the normal PUBG knows all this.

• Map layout: Everything is where it was in the original.

• gulag: The very first Gulag with the showers is also included.

When is Warzone Mobile coming? There is no official release date yet. The launch is rumored to take place later this year. The only thing that is currently certain is that the title will be developed for iOS and Android by Solid State, Beenox, Activision Shanghai and Digital Legends. All other Activision studios are likely to be working on Modern Warfare 2 or Warzone 2.
