Fire Emblem Warriors Three Hopes: Reviews Review – Even Better Than Calamity

Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes can apparently repeat the success of its predecessor.

Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes can apparently repeat the success of its predecessor.

Fire Emblem usually relies on relaxed turn-based tactics and RPG elements with a touch of graphic novel. But Fire Emblem Warriors combines the world and characters with the action-packed Musou genre. This worked very well with the first offshoot and seems to continue in the new part Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes. The first reviews are here and mostly positive. Apparently the mix works even better here than in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.

  • OpenCritic: The average rating is currently 79 (June 22, 1 p.m.).

What is well received, what is criticized?

This is positive: The mixture of world, characters and the story of Fire Emblem with the Musou principle of mass battles seems to work very well and motivates as with the first Fire Emblem Warriors. at NintendoLife it says for example:

This doesn’t go over well: As is often the case with Musou titles, the core gameplay can quickly become repetitive for some players. That’s what it says in the GameSpot review for example, that while Fire Emblem Warriors Three Hopes is one of the strongest offshoots, the “repetitive and sometimes frustrating combat” still makes up a large part of the experience.

Will you get Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes when it releases on June 24th (the day after tomorrow!)?
