Doctor Strange 2 now on Disney+, offers more than the cinema version
If you haven’t seen Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness in the cinema yet, you no longer have to think about a cinema ticket. Because the latest MCU adventure is now on Disney+ – in an expanded version that offers more than the big screen version!
Doctor Strange 2 is now available as part of Disney+, so the film won’t cost you a penny if you already have a subscription. So there is no need for a VIP ticket, as was initially the case with the live-action adaptation of Mulan. In addition to the advantages of your own couch, free choice of bathroom breaks or cheaper snacks, watching the film at home has another advantage over going to a cinema: You can watch Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness in an extended version that has hardly been shown in cinemas!

IMAX version of Doctor Strange 2 on Cinema+
You can also just watch the original version of the film in widescreen, but there is an additional option Doctor Strange 2 as a special extended version on Disney+: This is “IMAX Enhanced”, which was originally optimized for IMAX cinemas:
IMAX Enhanced compared to the regular widescreen version of Doctor Strange 2.

Doctor Strange in the comics: This anthology is perfect for fans of the Sorcerer Supreme
You don’t get a longer film with extra scenes via IMAX Enhanced, but the black bars above and below disappear again and again in scenes – these IMAX recordings cannot be displayed in some cinemas because the screen there is completely filled with widescreen format. Accordingly, the screen would literally not have room for so much film – your television would!
Do you have Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (buy now ) seen? Will you watch the MCU movie again in the IMAX version? Can you recommend it to other users? What bothered you (no spoilers please)? Tell us in the comments – we’re looking forward to your impressions!
