The Blizzard developers have announced that there will soon be new transfer options for WoW: Burning Crusade Classic. It is particularly exciting that the PvP restrictions are to be lifted.

A little over two weeks ago, the Blizzard developers announced that they wanted to take some sparsely populated servers from WoW: Burning Crusade Classic offline on August 10, 2022. Here the List of servers to be killed on the day. Any player characters remaining on those realms will be automatically transferred to a new target realm.

Blizzard announces new transfer options

There was a few days ago a first update, in which we received specific information about the implementation of the server mergers. Even then, Blizzard advertised looking for a new home in advance using the existing character transfer services. And for those transfer services, Blizzard was now delivering another news:

“In the coming weeks, we will be removing the restrictions on normal to PvP realm transfers in Burning Crusade Classic. At this time, we will also be making available additional free character transfers from underpopulated normal realms where appropriate. In addition, we are lifting the Burning Crusade Classic PvP realms rule that players can only have characters from one faction on the server. Once we’re ready to put those plans into action, we’ll confirm all the details.”
