More than four years after the original release of the puzzle game in which you save the world on an 8×8 playing field (like Jörg in the video here), the FTL-Developer Subset Games has now announced a free content update for all versions. In the Into the Breach Advanced Edition (GG test of mecha chess with grade 8.0) there will be more pilots and mechs as well as new missions and an even crisper optional difficulty level. More detailed information will be published gradually until the release on July 19th.

On the same day, the Advanced Edition, adapted for touch operation, will also be available for iOS and Android – but as part of Netflix Gaming. So the game is only available to Netflix subscribers, but it’s free for them. For the collectors of physical Switch editions, the module comes with a few extras about fangamer.com released. This should appear in 2022; Pre-orders are already possible.
